Landry Detergent is safe for GE machines!
Well thanks to pintrest I was creative one night and went to Wal-mart and got the things to make my own Laundry Detergent. I was curious if this would be cheaper and really clean my clothes (not really mine, more my husband work clothes....they stink) And well this is the most amazing thing I have ever made and it was really cheaper.
Things you need...You can get them all in the Laundry section at Wal-Mart:
Ya'll enjoy.... I made this about two months ago and still have plenty of detergent. It really is cheaper and really washes your clothes. I am never again going to buy over priced detergent from the store again.
**everything cost me about $20-25 to make!

I was curious if this would be cheaper and really clean my clothes (not really mine, more my husband work clothes....they stink) And well this is the most amazing thing I have ever made and it was really cheaper.
Things you need...You can get them all in the Laundry section at Wal-Mart:
- 4 lb box of borax
- 3lb box of arm and hammer super washing soda
- 3lb box of oxy clean
- 2 bars of fels naphitha (you need to shred them...I grated the two bars in my food processor, like I would a block of cheese and then grated them up more in the food processor to make them smaller.
- 55 oz of purex crystals.....if you want your clothes to have a little smell, if you like alot of smell add two 55 oz....or if you want no smell just done add crystals
- 1 big bucket to mix
- 1 big spoon to mix
- whatever you would like to store the detergent in....it just needs to be in a airtight container so it doesn't clump up!
- take a little of everything and add it to the bottom of the bucket, mix with the spoon!
- add more layers and mix till all of the ingredients is gone.
- place it in the airtight container you would like to store it in
- start a wash of clothes and add 2-3 tbs to the laundry and wash.
Ya'll enjoy.... I made this about two months ago and still have plenty of detergent. It really is cheaper and really washes your clothes. I am never again going to buy over priced detergent from the store again.
