Keeping up with the Waddell's

Well Jan. 24 and Jan 28-29 was a Sneaux apocalypse. I have never in my lifetime seen Louisiana get a ice storm this bad....but yet not just one...two ice storms. Winter Storm Kronos and Winter Storm Leon put a hurting on South Louisiana. He roads were so bad I couldn't go to work on Friday and then when Winter Storm Leon came I couldn't get out of the house,the roads were even worse and they cancelled us at work for two days. I guess the good thing about it was I started going through Hunter's clothes to put up in the attic. He loved the weather. I did take him out for a few minutes to take so pictures on Friday, But i didn't take him out Tuesday or Wednesday. It was too cold. He loved riding in his car outside, he did not want to go in. On Saturday night after Winter storm Kronos, we had dinner with the Beaudet's. James and Hunter of course played well together. I think James showed Hunter a thing or too about crawling, because the next day he was determ...

When I was pregnant with Hunter I saw this little sign that goes on the car seat that says: no touching until you wash your hands! I thought it was a cute idea so I got it. Every time I go into Walmart someone ask me where I got it. Well I have a friend that is having twins so I decided to make her one (which means two). So i got a toy hanger and laminated the sign I made and BOOM. Baby no touching sign made.  I hope she likes it. It helped Hunter from not being touched by random people in the store.   

We had a great time at Emma's 1st Birthday Party! She is too cute! I helped make some decorations, but Brittany did a great job on the Winter ONEderland theme. It was really cute and girly. All the gang showed up and the boys seemed like they liked playing with each other.  Here are the boys playing together: Here are a few things that I made for Emma's Party:  

Hunter turned 8 months old on January 10. I can't believe that time has flown by so fast. (side note: He is now feeling better from the croup. Thanks for all the prayers.) He now has 4 teeth and can scoot backwards on his belly. He loves his walker and will pull up on things if you are not watching him. He can chase you in his walker (you have to watch out he will run you over). Stephen and I play a hiding game with him. We put him in his walker and run and hide and call him from that room in the house. He will take off and find you and when that little boy finds you his face just lights up with joy and laughs......like he is saying "ha I found you."  I can not wait to see how his personally evolves. I love my little man so much.  He is doing really good with pulling himself up! HAPPY 1st BIRTHDAY JAMES! I am so happy for Elizabeth and CJ for their baby boy turning 1. Elizabeth did such a great job with the party. I made some of the labels for the part...

Hunter is getting better and is almost fever free for 24 hours. we just have 8 more hours to go! Yeah......I hate hearing him cough. He sounds so bad but is acting so much better. He almost crawled today. I also noticed that his 2 front teeth are in! Yeah he now has 4 teeth! He is starting to act like himself. Thanks for all the prayers.
